Heineken Experience: An Incredibly Fun Beer Tour in Amsterdam

Things to do in Amsterdam

If you have a couple hours to spare and a passion for beer, the Heineken Experience in Amsterdam is a great way to spend an afternoon. Maybe even kick off your day, like my friends and I did.

The tour costs 21 euros if you pay in person or you can save 3 euros if you book online. If you choose to book online, you also get a great perk of being able to schedule your own tour time slot. Included with your tour and cost of admission, Heineken awards you with a map of the city and two beer-tokens to redeem at the end of your tour. Nothing like pounding a couple of Heinekens at the best Dam bar in town.

The Heineken Experience also offers private tours for 55 euros per person. This tour of course has a lot more perks including a private guide, additional beer, snacks and your very own personalized Heineken bottle. This tour is roughly 2.5 – 3 hours. If you’re feeling hungry and have some time to kill before or after your tour, we highly recommend getting pancakes at the famously known Upstairs Pancake House nearby.

Prefer a great cocktail while in Amsterdam? Head to one of the best cocktail bars in the world.

Drawn to the feeling of adventure and thrill. Seeking for something greater in life through traveling the world and experiencing other cultures. Fortunate enough to have work that allows me to travel and work remotely. I'd love to teach people how to balance a successful work and travel life, while having fun and seeking a more permanent adventure. I was a shark in my past life, I love hiking and being outdoors, and living in the moment. Also a minimalist and wanna be vegan.
