Travel Cheaper With The Hopper Phone App

Traveling isn’t always cheap nor is it affordable for everyone. But with technology and the ever-growing Internet on the rise, it’s easier than its ever been to find services that can truly help you travel the cheapest. Since I’ve started ramping up international traveling, I’m always on the hunt for ways to save money on everything possible and typically flights and stay accommodations will always be the most expensive to plan for. Meet Hopper.

Hopper is an award winning phone app that allows you to not only make in-app airfare and hotel purchases, it shows you the cheapest days to travel, predicts if airfares will drop or skyrocket and helps guide you to the perfect time to buy. Now let me say there are quite a few apps that offer services very similar to Hopper but here are a few things I really enjoy about the app. Setup and figuring out how to track potential flight options are made ridiculously easy. The user interface is simple and doesn’t include annoying pop-ups, ads or spam. It’s extremely straight forward and easy to use. Let me show you how it works.

Download

First you need to download Hopper on the Appleor Google Playstore. The app is free, which is also another great perk.

Setup

Once you download the app, setup is super simple. Like a lot of phone apps these days, you’ll create an account by validating your phone number. You’ll receive a text with a link to confirm your number and link it to your new Hopper account! Don’t worry, there are no spam text messages.

The app is set up with 4 easy-to-use tabs; WatchNotificationsSearchand Trips. Most of your time will be spent searching for airfare and hotel deals under SearchOnce you figure out where you’re heading, enter where you want to fly from and where you want to fly to. Hopper combs every airfare deal online and compiles a list for you to see. Hopper will also let you know if you should hold off on buying a flight or purchasing one as soon as possible using a price predicting tool. If you hold off, you can turn on notifications for your flight search and be updated real time once flights hit the lowest prices. Once you’re ready to make your purchase, you can do it all within the app. It’s that easy, literally.

Hopper has a website but it doesn’t have any functionality. You can also check out Hopper on Twitterand Facebook. Watch the video below to learn more about this awesome travel service and save money on your next trip today!

Overall Hopper is an extremely easy to use app. It’s free and offers a great way to find some of the cheapest flights available. Whether you’re an experienced traveler or just getting started, get in the habit of looking for ways to save money anywhere possible. Airfare and travel apps are a great place to start. Keep an eye out for more app reviews coming your way in the near future!
